Message from the Board Chair

It is a privilege to work and serve with the Perth Smiths Falls District Hospital Board of Directors, and be part of  organization with such dedicated and passionate staff and volunteers

The Board  of Directors is a diverse and skilled group of 16 community volunteers dedicated to the Hospital’s mission, vision and values.
In 2010, the Hospital opened at the Smiths Falls site a new state of the art  patient care wing including a new CAT Scan.  The redevelopment of the Smiths Falls site continues into 2011. The Smiths Falls site  redevelopment and CAT scan are tremendous examples of what communities working together can accomplish.

This year we are also embarking on a new strategic planning cycle.  The new strategic plan will guide hospital planning toward quality sustainable health care in our communities for the next few years.

I can assure you that with our passionate and committed employees, broad community involvement and the help of our foundation partners,  the Perth Smiths Falls District Hospital will continue to be a high performing health care facility,  providing the best possible care for our communities now and into the future.
